Deep Cycle those Expensive Batteries
One way for your DJI Mavic battery to last longer is called “deep cycling”.
After 10 flights, it’s recommended to perform a “Deep Cycle”.
This is when you fly your Mavic until the lowest point of your battery - 3.3 Volts.
I usually just fly it close to me until the power is low. It will try to auto land, just keep it off the ground.
Land when you have about 8% of battery power left, then turn it off.
Let the battery cool off to room temperature and then charge it.
This ensures your battery goes through a deep cycle and pro-long its life.
